Wonder, wonder, wonder. (Sometimes, we humans wonder a lot relative to th little amount of work that we do.)
Wonder all you want, but it doesnt change the fact that grades are important, as many other things are.
Being streetsmart and charismatic are important to help you climb up the corporate/whatever-rank-you-want ladder fast, but getting good grades in school is also important in reflecting the kind of person you are - whether you're determined, whether you know how to prioritize, whether you can achieve amidst all the pressure (and competition) you face.
It's a very trying period for most of us right now; for one, I am at the brink of insanity. Family, school, and friends have been taking up a lot of my time till at times, i neglect allocating some 'me' time to destress, meditate, and simply love my self.
But right now, with exams and season (or syf or every other competitions) coming, life is moving on the fast lane. I'm not used to having multiple HIGH intensity periods in life, and I am not handling it too well.
Yet, while it's good to stop and ponder about the meaning of life, and the direction you're heading with all that you're doing right now, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. Just because you're a daughter who needs to fulfil the hopes of her parents, just because you're an older sister who needs to model the way for her younger sister. Just because it's your duty to prove that the sacrifices everyone has made for you - be it parents, friends, aunts, cousins etc - to help you reach where you are right now, are all worth it.
Just because.
